1958年9月，ANDREA BOCELLI出生在意大利图斯卡尼的一个农场主家庭，从小就显露出非凡的音乐才能。不幸的是由于严重弱视，12岁因意外重击完全失明。大学毕业后一边工作，一边跟随弗兰科.科雷里学习美声唱法。1992年在与世界著名意大利摇滚歌王Zucchero的二重唱后，凭借销魂的音色和动情的演唱红遍全国。从此BOCELLI多次和帕瓦罗蒂等世界级歌唱家同台献艺。无论演唱歌剧咏叹调，意大利民歌还是流行歌曲，BOCELLI都获得了巨大的成功。1998年获美国告示牌杂志最新年度大奖双料冠军(世界音乐类最佳艺人、古典音乐类最佳艺人)。目前BOCELLI是PHILIPS公司的专属艺术家。
